The sun is out, the flowers are blooming, and our school year will be over soon. Our school has tons of events to come together, celebrate our students, and say good bye until September. (Use these events to connect with families so you can stay in touch over the summer!)
Follow to see our kids in action! Make sure you're following @FriendsOfRoxhill on Instagram and Facebook to see the first graders releasing salmon, students planting and improving E.C. Hughes Park, and some very funny pictures of Mr. Martin!

School Snack Stash
Many classrooms and clubs at Roxhill provide snacks for students. In an effort to ensure all staff have snacks to draw from, we are starting a centralized snack collection. You can order snacks from the Amazon list to be sent directly to school or purchase snacks locally and drop off in the office for the collection. Please do not donate any snacks with nuts.

Roxhill Underwear Drive
We need donations of underwear in all sizes to have on hand for our students. Please drop off donations at Roxhill front office.
Seeking Roxhill Representative for WS Public School Equity Fund
Roxhill has two representatives to the West Seattle Public School Equity Fund, and is seeking to fill one open space. This is a wonderful way to support Roxhill and engage with other schools in West Seattle.
The WSPSEF works together to develop and implement the fund allocation guidelines and practices, distribute funds and update previously developed allocation guidelines and champion and build awareness of WSPSEF’s mission within their networks.
A school’s representative attends three equity fund meetings throughout the year and volunteers at the end of the year event. At meetings your role is to share with the group the impact of the equity fund on Roxhill as a receiving school in addition to being involved in the decision making processes and raising awareness about the fund.
Email friendsofroxhill@gmail.com if you’re interested!
Requesting T-shirt Donations

In a few weeks, our Roxstars will be getting a brand new t-shirt to show off their Roxhill pride. We’re bringing back a popular classic t-shirt design from three years ago: Navy blue with the Roxhill logo. Every student receives a shirt regardless of ability to pay.
If you are able, please donate the cost of your students’ shirts and consider a donation to help a friend or classmate. Each student shirt costs $15.
Donate and order additional t-shirts - Please pay by Wenesday, June 4!
Yearbooks Coming Soon!
Yearbooks are coming soon!
5th graders worked with Ms. Binkow and Friends of Roxhill volunteers to produce a high quality 44 page yearbook filled with photos to commemorate the 2024-2025 school year.
Like t-shirts, we’ll be asking that every family who is able contribute the cost of their student’s yearbook. Watch for more information soon.
