Why we are raising money

This year, we Reach for the Stars and raise money to improve our outdoor play space and replenish our general fund. Our playground is currently all blacktop with no green space, and our students would benefit so much from having green plantings, shade, updated play equipment, and painted lines for games like basketball and 4-square.

Money raised by the auction supports vibrant community-building in our school including:

  • Multicultural Night
  • Family Fun Night
  • Skate Night
  • Kings & Queens Team
  • Field trips
  • 5th grade outdoor school (camp)
  • Classroom mini-grants for teachers
  • Friends of Roxhill community meetings, advocacy, and events
